Fred has over 30 years of financial and software development experience in the healthcare industry. Under Fred‘s leadership, Panacea develops world-class niche technology that helps providers identify and reduce risk, maintain compliance, and improve their bottom line. As one of the nation’s leading experts on hospital pricing, Fred has spoken frequently at Healthcare Financial Management Association’s national and regional conferences and been published in HFM magazine often. Frederick Stodolak co-founded Panacea Healthcare Solutions in September 2007 and RAC Monitor, LLC, in 2008.
Prior to forming Panacea, Fred formed Innovative Health Solutions in 2002 and in less than four years, grew the company to national prominence before the company was acquired by Accuro Healthcare Solutions (now nThrive).Fred was also the founder and CEO of Healthcare Design Systems, which was acquired in 1995 by QuadraMed Corporation, where he played a vital role in establishing the company’s product vision and subsequent earnings success leading up to and during its initial and secondary public offerings.
Past positions also include Director of Budget and Reimbursement and Acting CFO for five years in the hospital setting, where he was instrumental in every instance in substantially improving each of the organization’s bottom line and Executive Director (Senior Partner) at Kaden Arnone for 12 years (now CBIZ).
Rebecca is a co-founder of Panacea and was instrumental in establishing a strong financial, operational, and marketing base from which the company operates today under her direction. Rebecca has over 18 years experience in business analysis, operations, and marketing. Her expertise includes business strategy development, project management, database management, product fulfillment, and strategic partnership development. Rebecca has an MBA from Babson College, and her undergraduate degree from Hamilton College.
Will brings over 20 years of experience in technical strategy and implementation at finance and healthcare companies. As Chief Technology Officer, Will leads the technical team at Panacea, overseeing the build out of the company’s suite of software applications from concept to delivery to industry leader. With a background in software engineering coupled with an Isenberg School of Management education, Will excels at integrating a company’s unique business needs into long-term technical solutions. At Panacea, Will for more than ten years has created a business-aligned, security-focused IT strategy and roadmap that guides both Panacea and its clients through the ever-changing health information technology landscape.
Gregory M. Adams
Greg has over 35 years of experience in the field of healthcare, including 20 years experience as a hospital CFO and 10 years as the partner in a healthcare consulting company. His experience includes financial operations, managed care contracting, physician practice management, patient accounting, patient access, medical records, materials management, and real estate development.
Govi serves as Panacea’s EVP where he leads a team of financial and revenue integrity consultants to strategically partner with hospitals, health systems and other providers to grow their revenue cycle performance through the use of technology and deep industry expertise. He has held several leadership roles within the high-tech and big 4 consulting space as well as serving on the provider side working for large academic and not-for-profit community-based health care systems.
Govi’s technical area of expertise lies in building revenue integrity teams, developing strategic pricing models and performing CDM reviews. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Master of Science in Health Systems Management from Rush University Medical Center. Govi is an active board member of the Florida HFMA chapter serving as the incoming President for the 2021 – 2022 membership year and is passionate about volunteering throughout the sunshine state.
Kathy is a proven leader in healthcare revenue cycle management with extensive experience in management, project implementation, coding, billing, physician documentation improvement, compliance audits, and education. She has trained and managed health information management (HIM) professionals in multiple environments and has provided compliance auditing and documentation education to physicians and coders throughout her career.
Paula Schmidt, MBA, PMP
Paula serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Panacea, bringing over 25 years of experience in the business-to-business environment from small startups to Fortune 50 companies. At Panacea, Paula leads the sales team to oversee the sales process optimization, lead generation, pipeline management, and achieving annual sales quotas. She is also responsible for developing and deploying the annual marketing program and budget, including digital marketing, conference management, social media initiatives, thought-leadership content, demand generation and media relations. Paula holds an MBA in executive management from Golden Gate University, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of the Pacific and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
